Griff invited a few buddies over for a BBQ and sleepover. They had a great time playing catch in the backyard, jumping on the trampoline, and just hanging out. At Griffen's request I made pasta salad, potato salad, baked beans, and 2 types of chicken wings. It was a hit with the kids.
This was the 1st year that I haven't baked a cake or cupcakes for Griffen. Instead he asked for peach cobbler and vanilla ice cream. I guess he's getting too old for a character cake!
Griffen had a great time and was thankful for a simple birthday where he could spend time with his friends.
The common gift theme was candy!!
