Baby Demiter #4 36 Week Update

The countdown is now on with less than 1 month to go....approximately! I've completed all of my projects and now it's just a waiting game. Aidy's room is complete, linens and clothes are washed, and hospital bag packing is in the works. I feel tired and energized at the same time, if that even makes sense. I want to get things done before Aidy arrives but my body is tired and I'm moving a lot slower these days. Luckily I get a massage weekly now so that is helping with the aches and I love the 1 hour of quiet and relaxation.
Mama has gained a total of 27 lbs. and still feeling pretty darn good. I have lots of contractions and they are starting to get stronger but from previous experience I know they are only braxton hicks. I haven't swelled so that is positive but I would have to say that my heartburn has been worse than it ever was with the boys.

Aidy is now the size of a honeydew melon, although when I hold up a honeydew it appears that it would take up less space in my belly. She is about 4.5-5 lbs. and somewhere in the 17"-18" range for length. All of her systems are in working order and she would be able to breathe if she made her grand arrival anytime soon. Although I'm excited to see her I want her to bake just a little longer to be on the safe side.

Happy Mother's Day!

My little boys and husband give me sweet little reminders to let me know how much I am loved all the time. On Mother's Day they surprised me with breakfast, beautiful flowers, sea salt and caramel chocolate, and a wonderful card.
Although life can be crazy I always love hearing the words mom, mommy, mama, and ma to remind me of how blessed I am!
