Our little blessings......

Tonight's family prayer went a little something like this -

{Griffen} Dear Heavenly Father thank you for this day. I'm happy that our new house is almost done, thanks for helping it come together piece by piece. I'm thankful for my brothers and sisters. Knox stop it. Please help us get a good nights rest. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

{Knox} repeats most of the things that Griffen says.

{Matt} Griff it's ok if Knox repeats you during the prayer. That is how he learns to say it.

{Griff} Ya that's fine.

{Matt} But you told him to stop it.

{Griff} That's because he was poking me in the eye!

These are the moments that we love. :)

4th Grade - new school, new teacher, and new friends

Our house still isn't done so we drove to Monroe for the first day of school. Griffen was excited but definitely showed signs of being nervous. I reassured him that it's ok to be nervous. I also reminded him that he is a kind and likable boy so I was sure that he would have no problems making new friends.

Griffen's breakfast of choice this morning included homemade waffles with syrup and strawberries placed like a happy face.

Trig is 11 months

I'm 11 months old! I just got my 5th tooth and number 6 is coming in. I'm cruzing all over now that I walk along furniture and crawl up the stairs. My appetite continues to grow and so far there isn't anything I don't like. I eat full portions of food but it's a mystery where it goes because I'm still a shrimp. I weigh in at a whopping 16 lbs. 3 oz. and I'm 27 inches tall. This puts me in the 2nd percentile but I'm happy and meeting all of my milestones.

Trig is 10 months

I'm 10 months old! I haven't been to the doctor lately but I'm about 16 lbs. and 27 in. long. I crawl all over the place now and get into everything. I can pull myself up but I'm not brave enough to try and take any steps. I love food and eat everything that big people eat. I have 4 teeth and can say mama and dada. I'm a super happy little guy so I'm always smiling and giggling.

It's fair time!

1 week old piggies - Every year we remind daddy that we want one!

New baby sheep - Her name is Monroe because she was born at the fair.

Knox has an obsession with tractors!

Knox didn't like this ride

He was nervous about this one too......

but......he ended up loving it!
