Grandma sent the boys McDonalds gift cards for Valentines Day. As a treat we went for dinner.

We've Got A Roller!
In early January, just after turning 3 months old, Trig started rolling from his back to his stomach. I finally caught it on video!
Pinewood Derby
Along with scouts comes The Pinewood Derby. Griffen experienced his first race this year and took 5th place!
He and Matt worked together to design, cut, sand, and paint his car. His lightening bolt design was a hit as well as his name, "Beast Mode".
Now that he knows what to expect he has already started planning his design for next year!

A Demiter Christmas
Matt and I have just celebrated our 3 year anniversary which also means that this is our 3rd Christmas together.
Griffen was home this year so we tried to do as much as possible during the break. We headed over the pass to spend a few days with Grandma and Papa before Christmas. On Christmas Eve we left Richland and drove straight to Lake Tapps where we spent a few hours with the Vaughn's.
It was a very long day but we made it home at about 8pm and although we were exhausted we still had to prepare for Christmas morning.
We were up at 6:45am and had to wake the boys. Daddy was on shift so we did an early Christmas and then went to the station later in the afternoon to have dinner with all of the other families.
This year we had a new visitor during the Christmas season. Felix is our elf and he left to go back to the North Pole on Christmas Eve. To say goodbye he left a note for the boys!
