Rollin rollin rollin.....
On Febuary 14, 2011 Knox rolled over! We were in the doctor's office for his 4 month checkup. Dr. Haugen had just asked me if Knox was rolling over yet and I said no. I layed Knox on the exam table and before I knew it he we rolled from his back to his tummy. Now he just needs to master rolling from his tummy to his back.

Demiter Christmas 2010

Matt returned back to the Tri-cities in early December because he ran out of vacation. This meant that I needed to drive to Richland with Knox, Griffen, and the dog. Oh joy! The trip really wasn't too bad. The pass was clear and we made it with only 1 stop for Knox.
Grandma and Papa Demiter had 1 full house this holiday. We were so lucky to have all of the siblings together for Christmas. Griffen was the most excited because he had the chance to play with all of his cousins.
Matt was on call for Christmas Eve and took the shift thinking that if he got called it would only be for a few hours to transport. Boy were we wrong! Matt had his 1st transport at 11am and then didn't get home until 11pm so we didn't get to spend much time together. He was on shift at the station for Christmas day so we made sure to get up with plenty of time to spend with the kiddos before he left for work.
Asa and Taine were up at 6:30am so Griffen followed suit. It could have been much worse as far as waking times go. We all headed downstairs and Griffen was pretty excited about his new scooter and helmet. He loved his stocking stuffers along with the Ben 10 toys that came from Matt and I. Knox even got a few gifts from the grandparents.
We made sure to make a trip to the fire station to visit Matt and spend some time with him on Christmas.
Griffen was able to break in his new scooter and face planted on the cement cart path behind Grandma and Papa's house. He went full speed down the hill, no helmet, and lost control. His face was pretty hashed up but it healed fairly well.
It was great to have the entire family together for Christmas and with 5 siblings there wasn't too much drama.
Matt and I have decided that we will alternate holidays in Richland and travel there the years that Griffen is with us so he has the chance to see everyone too.
Merry Christmas!

Out of the mouths of babes.....
"Here mom" Griffen hands me a piece of string cheese. "You need to eat this so that you can make more milk for the baby". :)
Thanksgiving 2010
This year Matt and I packed up the car including the dog and headed to Tri-cities to spend the holiday with family. The drive took 7 hours between stops with the baby and the accident at the pass that held us up for additional time. We were able to spend 5 days in Richland with Jim and Sharon. Matt picked up a few shifts of overtime while we were there so that he could stay home just a few days longer. Thanksgiving was great and as always we all ate plenty! I made my sausage dressing and creamy-cheesy mashed potatoes. It was great to have leftovers almost every day that we were there!
Griffen spent Thanksgiving with his dad this year which was a bummer because there was plenty of snow and a great sledding hill on the golf course. Hopefully it will snow when we head back for Christmas!

A Blessing
On Sunday November 7th Matt blessed his first child, Knox Anton. It was beautiful to witness my husband performing this ordinance. Jim, Ryan, and Jeremy all stood up with Matt for the blessing which made it very special.
All of the family came to visit for the weekend of the blessing and we enjoyed spending time together. Griffen especially loved playing with all of his cousins.
While I was still pregnant I decided to make Knox his blessing outfit and it turned out great. He looked like a little angel all dressed in white. He is such a precious new spirit and we are blessed that Heavenly Father brought him to us.
